What is this training about?

Nobody likes an accident on a highway, bridge or in a tunnel. Traffic should be smooth and fluent. Incidents should be avoided. And if they occur they should be handled efficiently and effectively. Effective incident management completely depends on fast incident detection and fast incident verification! Every minute lost, increases the risk of having another incident and lengthens the time to clear the accident. 

The Teledyne FLIR Intelligent Transportation Systems are the perfect tool to manage incidents fast and effective.

What you will learn!

Upon completion of this training, you will have fundamental knowledge on FLIR ITS detection technology. You will be able to select the right camera for your project: analogue, IP or thermal. You will learn why the positioning of the camera is as import as the selection of the camera. 

You will discover the functionalities and features of the Video Image Processor (VIP) board and software involved in video detection. You will acquire skills on how to configure the VIP board, TrafiBot, ThermiBot and ITS series on a basic level using the configuration software. 

You will also learn how to install and configure the management software FLUX and to manage in FLUX the data received from the VIP board and TrafiBot series. 

Participants will also get guidelines on how to successfully implement a traffic video detection system, whether it is for Automatic Incident Detection on a highway, bridge or for data collection on roads outside tunnels.

Group Discounts

Teledyne FLIR ITS offers a discount of € 100 from the second registration on for participants from the same organization.

Cancelation

If you have to cancel your registration, your fee will be refunded in full if we receive your cancellation request in writing no later than 14 working days prior to the course. Cancellations or non-arrivals after this date will be liable for the full fee. Of course, the alternative is for another member of your staff to represent you.

Acknowledgement of registration 

Upon receipt of your completed registration, you will receive an invoice. The registration becomes effective after payment of the registration fee. At least 1 week before the training, you will receive a map and a more detailed schedule.
